Group Blog

 Writing these blogs is a solo thing that I'm glad about although working with others may sometimes seem fun, things like this may seem very hard to do. Since we do not all think the same thing at the same time the words may get messy and we would have made no progress. At first I was almost sure I would be doing everything solo in this class. I find it hard to work with others in some cases since I am very independent. However, when it comes to projects sometimes working as a team can make the job easier. The people that I have grouped with is Naiara and Melvin. When coming into the class I didn't know many people and I remembered Naiara for Middle School. As soon as I sat with them I was instantly comfortable. They are good communicators and have amazing ideas. The first project we did in class we all continued to throw out ideas and eventually all came up with great products. Although it seems as if we almost never stop talking about all the great ideas we have, we work hard. Naiara and I were in junior thespians together and I know how hardly she can work towards a goal if she focuses. I have only known Melvin since the beginning of school. From what I know of him, he is good at thinking on the spot. By being together on a team we can accomplish so many things and get many amazing projects on film. We haven't got to talk much about group activity but we do all seem very content with working with each other. Hopefully as we get to talk more, we learn about each others skills. With that we will be able to know who will work on what, in the filming process. It should be easier with things being split and it will be a very fun experience. Being openminded to trying new things, such as group work, will be beneficial in the end.
