Just the beginning of filming

This class is definitely one of my favorites because it incorporates my love for film. I love seeing my work come to life. Especially after doing shots that look exactly like my storyboard. Filming was super different this time because I work with a larger group of people. The first time I did anything was at school with 2 of my classmates. Then I did a solo one. Now I'm working with people outside of the school. I spent time with my brothers. They were so excited to be included in it. Today I used the understudy, Maurice, to be in the first few shots that do not include face. Just in case I can use the original lead role later on. I spoke with Dontae on the phone and he told me that he would be able to come by soon. I'm not sure exactly when so for now I will just use Maurice in place. Today most of the shots were in the bathroom or house. They showed nothing past the knees. My brother kept saying we should just wait but I felt like I wouldn't have enough time. My other brother, Tristan, kept asking when he would be in it. I showed them my storyboard and pretty much explained everything through. Continuing on with this project I'll have to start moving a little quicker and get the actors a little more involved. For the most part the things that I did film were decent. I'm thinking about re-filming them when Dontae comes around. I have very high hopes for this project and can't wait to see how it comes out.
